Letting Go
of the Past

Letting go of the Past

meditation course in the city

followed by

a weekend retreat at the temple

Kadampa Meditation Center New York City and Kadampa Meditation Center New York (Glen Spey) have teamed together to provide two special opportunities to find inner peace through learning how to let go.

We often have trouble letting go of painful events in our past and this affects the way we respond to our current life situations. We blame situations, ourselves or others and remain trapped in a state of anger and hurt. Through training in mindfulness and meditation we can illuminate the real source of pain and difficulty within our minds and finally release it completely, leaving us with a tremendous feeling of relief and joy.

Then, in order to take the teachings given by Kadam Morten to heart, KMC New York will offer a weekend retreat based on the Sept. 17 day course in the city. Held in the World Peace Temple and guided by Gen Samten Kelsang, attendees will have the special opportunity to engage in this 3-day retreat to gain deep experience of the teachings. Attending the day course is not required to attend the retreat.
