We are now very skilled at producing all kinds of weapons for waging war and harming each other, but we lack the skills to create peace and happiness. Buddha taught that all suffering is a result of the
negativity within our own mind. Through learning to meditate we can create the inner protection of a peaceful mind that can give ourself, our family, communities and society hope for permanent world peace.
