Silent Retreat
Sunday afternoon to Wednesday
Transition seamlessly into a guided silent retreat where you have the rare opportunity to bring the weekend’s teachings deep into your heart. Learn about the benefits of silence.

The Teacher

Gen Samten

Gen Samten, the Resident Teacher at KMC NY will lead the silent retreat. He is well known for his ability to present Buddha’s most profound teachings in a practical and accessible way. Gen Samten carries with him a wealth of experience in skillfully guiding sincere practitioners to profound meditative insights on retreat.


Meals are $5 each*. Lunch and dinner are served in our community dining hall at 1pm and 6pm respectively. All meals are vegetarian.
*Breakfast is always included with accommodations.
