Tranquil Abiding Retreat

Tranquil Abiding Retreat on the Nature of the Mind

January 29 – February 4, 2016

In the scriptures it says, “If you realize your own mind you will become a Buddha; you should not seek Buddhahood elsewhere.”

This silent retreat will combine the practice of mindfulness with single-pointed concentration so that we will enjoy the tranquility of the nine mental abidings, and fulfill all our spiritual wishes.

For this retreat some basic experience of meditation will be required since the guidance given will be intended to build upon an existing meditation practice rather than being an introduction to meditation in general.

Heart Jewel Sadhana will be used during this retreat
