As part of our Mindful Students, Peaceful Schools Project, Kadampa World Peace Temple in Glen Spey, NY invites schools to experience an environment conducive to inner peace and contentment.
Nestled on 80 acres of lush woodland, the temple gives students the opportunity to explore Buddhist meditation and mindfulness. During the breaks, students can wander through the tranquil nature trails and enjoy the peaceful garden. A homestyle cooked lunch is enjoyed with the community where everyone takes time to stop and connect.
Field trips run over a full school day, however on request we can accommodate overnight visits.
