The New Year represents a new beginning. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the year gone by and come to conclusions about how best to spend the coming year. 
On this beginner-friendly retreat, you will discover Buddha’s timeless wisdom and practical methods for bringing about sustainable change and authentic happiness. In particular, how the tool of meditation allows us to transform at a deep level. Through applying these skillful methods we can make swift progress towards becoming the kind, effective, and joyful person we wish to be.
Includes teachings and guided meditation. During the breaks enjoy meaningful conversation and the beauty and tranquility of the Temple grounds.

Retreat Structure

Retreat Sessions

There are four sessions each day, each for approximately 75 minutes. The sessions combine practical instruction and guided meditation that will allow you to:

  • connect with an experience of true inner peace
  • develop basic techniques that can help you to create a consistent habit of meditation
  • leave with practical inner tools to apply what you’ve have learned to your daily life

All retreat sessions are in the World Peace Temple.

    • 11:30am-12:45pm | Teaching & Guided Meditation
    • 4:30-5:45pm | Teaching & Guided Meditation

    • 9-10am  |  Guided Meditation
    • 11:30am-12:45pm  |  Final Session

During the Breaks

Between retreat sessions take time to relax and carry your experience of peace in the following ways:
