Learn to Meditate Workshop
Begin your New Year in the peaceful environment of Kadampa Meditation Center New York. On New Year’s Day, we are offering two classes that are excellent ways to give life to your newly formed aspirations. Start the day with a special Prayers for World Peace course which runs from 11am-12:30. After a lunch break, explore the practice of meditation and learn how it can empower you to accomplish your aspirations for the new year.

The new year is the perfect opportunity to create resolutions and habits that will bring meaning to our life. Empowered by the practice of meditation, we have the opportunity to set attainable goals that lead us to develop peace of mind. As we begin to use meditation in our daily life, we will naturally improve our good qualities and feel capable of maintaining our resolve to accomplish the goals we’ve set for the coming year.
This class includes guided meditations, practical advice on how to maintain the experience of the inner peace in daily life and time to discuss the ideas presented.
