In this retreat, Gen Sangden, the National Spiritual Director of Mexico & Resident Teacher of KMC Mexico, will guide us along the quick path to Keajra Pure Land, the world beyond suffering and ordinary appearances. Based on the lineage blessings from the 2018 Summer Festival, this retreat will greatly empower our spiritual training and give us the special tools for transforming both our problems and our enjoyments into a blissful, swift journey to enlightenment.

Please note: As a prerequisite to registering for this retreat, you must have received Highest Yoga Tantra empowerment of Heruka and Vajrayogini.

What is Highest Yoga Tantra?

In Modern Buddhism, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche says, “Tantra, also known as ‘Secret Mantra’ or ‘Vajrayana’, is a special method to purify our world, our self, our enjoyments and our activities; and if we put this method into practice we will very quickly attain enlightenment.”

Before engaging in the practices of Highest Yoga Tantra, it is necessary to receive an empowerment and instructions from a qualified Spiritual Guide. These empowerments are given every other year at International Kadampa Festivals and occasionally at other events.

By practicing these instructions and relying upon Heruka and Vajrayogini sincerely, with a good heart and faith we will definitely reach full enlightenment. Success in this practice depends upon first receiving Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments and then studying authentic instructions on the training such as those presented in books by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
