Accommodations

Simple onsite accommodations are available for those attending courses and retreats, or for those who wish to come and take a spiritual break during a quiet time at the center. All accommodations have a communal kitchen, dining and living rooms. Some accommodations have shared bathroom facilities and some have private bathrooms — please see below. All housing is maintained by volunteers, who exemplify their Buddhist faith through providing service to the public.


Private Ensuites

DELUXE KING ENSUITE $125/night, cost for 1 or 2 guests
One person books for both guests

Shared Rooms & Bathrooms

SHARED ROOM $40/night, cost for one guest
Each guest books individually, 5 – 6 people per room
Bunk bed, includes all linens and towels

DORM ROOM $25/night per bunk
Each guest books individually, 8 – 10 people per room
Only bottom sheet and pillow are provided
Option to purchase a linen pack for $5 (top sheet, blanket and towel) or bring your own.


Seasonal (Shared Bathrooms)

CABIN $65/night, cost for 1 or 2 guests
One person books for both guests
Two twin bed,

No water, heat or electricity

“EASY” CAMPING $25/night for one guest
$42/night for two guests (same tent)

We erect the tent for you!
Sleeping mats are provided

“BYO” CAMPING $15/night, cost per guest, not per tent
Each person sharing a tent must register for camping.
Bring your own tent, mat, sleeping bag, pillow and towel
Campfires and cooking are not allowed in camping areas

“BYO” CAMPER VAN:
If you are interested in staying in your own camper van or small RV onsite, please contact us for more information.  Note that animals are not allowed in any of our onsite accommodations.


Offsite Accommodations

Below are some nearby options for offsite accommodations. This list is offered for informational purposes only. We encourage you to research any offsite accommodations before booking. Please note, you’ll need your own transportation if staying offsite, as taxis and ride shares are limited in this area. There are many vacation rentals available in the area, see VRBO and AirBnB for options.

General Information:

Meals
Simple vegetarian breakfast included in all on-site accommodations. Vegetarian lunch and dinner are available for $10 each, with vegan and wheat-free options. Please note there are no other meal options available onsite. During courses and retreats, the cafe will have light savory snacks. There are some local restaurants nearby. 

Disabled Access
KMC New York is a rustic site. Facilities for guests with disabilities are available, please inquire for details. If you have any mobility issues or additional needs please tell us AT THE TIME OF BOOKING and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Registration
Registration for courses and/or onsite accommodations can be made on the course/retreat page. A 25% deposit is required to confirm your registration. The balance is due upon arrival. Reception
Office is open from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Please plan to arrive during office hours if possible. Reception opening hours for courses vary; details will be included in your registration confirmation. Reception is located in the office on the east side of the Barn. If you enter through the main gates, it will be on your left.

Pets
Pets are not allowed in any of our accommodations.
