SARATOGA SPRINGS: Tuesdays 7 - 8:30pm
Stop Worrying, Start Living
April 1 - 29
It’s time to stop living driven by worry and fear. We become unfree and stuck when we are controlled by worries, like what others think about us, our bank account, our status, and the future.
In this series, we will see how to use special meditations on our precious human life, impermanence, and the fundamentals of Buddhism to drop these fears. We will replace them with an energized, clear-headed approach to life, that makes every moment count. This will benefit us, our friends, and community.

The Science of Happiness: The Four Noble Truths
May 6 - June 10 (No Class May 27 Due to Spring Festival)
We like science because it is reproducible, can be proven or disproven, and is based on evidence. Buddhism is an inner science that approaches our inner life in a scientific way. It asks and answers questions such as, “What is the precise cause of a good, happy life?” And, “What are the specific causes of our discomfort, insecurity and anxiety?” “What is the pathway forward?”
The Four Noble Truths, Buddha’s first teachings, are a practical presentation that answers these questions. They explain how discomfort and pain arise, and how to find freedom from suffering.

Awaken Your Limitless Potential
June 17 - July 15
Revolutionize your life through meditation. Its time to replace emotions like discouragement, depression and hopelessness with self-confidence, optimism, and inner-strength.
Using a step-by-step set of meditations, we will see how to identify an indestructible, positive potential inside ourselves. We will then see how to awaken it through carefully designed meditations on love, compassion, and wisdom. Finally, we will discover how to integrate these into our busy lives, so that, even as a modern person, we can make lasting, beneficial change.
