As we approach the end of 2024, we reflect on the profound impact Kadampa Meditation Center New York continues to have. The World Peace Temple serves as a multifaceted refuge — a peaceful, welcoming place for thousands:

Our global Kadampa family, who come to deepen their practice.
Individuals on weekend retreats starting their journey toward inner peace.
Locals attending weekly classes or simply enjoying time on the grounds.
And all the creatures who call this place home.

This holy place thrives thanks to the kindness of our community and the dedication of volunteers who support our spiritual programs and care for the temple, facilities, and grounds. As the Temple nears its 20 year anniversary, 2025 marks a year of vital improvements. We invite you to join us in bringing these plans to life!

Key projects include:

Replacing the Temple HVAC system to enhance energy efficiency and comfort.
Major maintenance and repairs on the Temple’s exterior.
Installing a generator to ensure the Temple operates even during the worst winter storms.
Launching a landscaping project using native plants, starting around the Temple building.
