Three Principal Aspects of the Path
Silent Retreat with Gen Samten Kelsang and Kadam Lucy James
November 15 – 20 | Registration Open Now
This immersive experience is designed to guide you through the profound teachings of Je Tsongkhapa’s “The Three Principal Aspects of the Path” – a text that has illuminated the hearts of meditators for centuries. The retreat is a call to those who seek to enrich their lives with spiritual depth or yearn for a steadfast anchor amidst life’s constant changes. As we meditate on the meaning of the text, we’ll discover how these teachings are not just philosophical concepts but practical tools that can be applied to every aspect of our lives.
Our retreat offers a deep dive into renunciation, bodhichitta, and the correct view of emptiness — the pillars upholding a meaningful life. We’ll explore the art of letting go, the joy of altruism, and the clarity of deep insight, gaining insights into these timeless principles and how to weave them into the fabric of our daily lives.
Each session will be guided by Kadam Lucy and Gen Samten and involve time sitting in meditation, with an emphasis on entering deeply into the peace of meditation. Allowing the wisdom of Je Tsongkhapa’s words to resonate within us, we will find the space to disconnect from the chaos of the external world and understand who we are and who we can become.
